Fall is the season to tone things down. You know? Darker coloured clothes?Burgundy, black, and dark green. Darker makeup, darker lips, brown eyeshadow? Ring a bell?
Today, I want to show you a fall eyeshadow makeup look I created using Fenty Beauty and Rimmel London products. It was really easy and simple. I don’t have the time to do elaborate makeup, but I really admire those that do it so well.
Step 1 – I used Fenty Beauty Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick for my inner eyelid. I used the shade rum. I really like the gold colour. It made my makeup really pop.You can shop it Here
Step 2 – Then I used the burgundy colour in my Rimmel London’s MagnifEyes Eyeshadow Palette on mu outer lids. You can shop it Here
Step 3 – I always wear dark lipstick. I just love looking gothic and badass. I can never wear pink lipstick or other colours. This one is from Fenty beauty, the shade is griselda from the mattemoiselle collection. You can shop it Here
I really liked how this turned out. I can wear this look out with my friends or on a date. This look is really me and this is how I like my makeup, simple and clean and dark. Don’t forget dark. Haha.
I just wanted to show you guys how I wear my makeup during fall. What do you think? Do you like it? What’s your go to makeup looks for fall? Let me know in the comments.
Everyone loves foundation! I mean, foundation is Everything! Who doesn’t love a good foundation that they can depend on, and use for years and years? Who doesn’t love quality foundation that meets their needs and matches their skin tones? I know, I do!
Today, I want to review Clinique Stay Matte Oil Free Makeup (Sample). I’ve never used the brand Clinique before, but I was excited to try this.
I didn’t know what my shade was so I chose the shade golden because it looked close to my foundation shade that I would normally use. When I applied it to my skin it felt really thick.
The foundation seemed to be medium coverage or light coverage because it didn’t cover up my spots when I applied it. And it also didn’t really blend well. Also, I think that the shade that I chose was a little too dark for my skin tone. It was a little dry too as well and it didn’t really cover up my pores.
I’m going to give this foundation a 3/5 stars. It didn’t blend well. Also the coverage was too light, it seemed like I would have to use a lot to cover my spots. And I NEED to cover my spots, you know what I’m saying. It seemed like it was really matte though, which I give the brand thumbs up for. I mean, when you have oily skin matte foundations are key. Also the price wasn’t too bad, on sephora.com it costs $35, which is way cheaper than most foundations that cost $42 and up.
These are just my thoughts though. Maybe you tried it and loved it, everyone’s skin is different and have different makeup needs.
Have you ever tried this foundation before? If so, what did you think of it? Comment below
I have a love hate relationship with serums. I like the idea of them, and I like to see how people use them, and then their skin become so flawless, but I’ve just had bad experiences with them. They’re either too oily and make my skin break out, or I don’t see any results.
Today, I want to Review It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cleanser Skin Transforming Serum. I’ve never use the It Cosmetics brand before but I was excited to try this out.
I cleansed my face with my Mario Badescu glycolic cleanser. I then left my face damp. Next, I opened the package of the It cosmetics serum. Once I opened the package, I really liked the smell. It smelled like lemons. It went on smoothly. The package said to rub into the skin for 30 seconds so I did that, then I rinsed it off.
I rinsed off the cleanser and pat dried my face. I noticed that the cleanser took off some extra dirt around my nose area. I was like, “Didn’t I just cleanse my face before, with Mario Badescu glycolic cleanser and it didn’t take off that dirt?”. After my face was dried, I noticed that it looked really clean. Like extremely clean.
Well, I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by this serum. It left my skin looking smooth and clean. More clean than if I were to use just my cleanser which is bonkers to me.Who would’ve thought? It didn’t leave my skin dry at all. It felt really hydrating. I felt like I could cleanse my face with this and not have to moisturize after. I also looked it up on Sephora.com and it costs $36 which is not too bad for a cleanser. Would I purchase this? Hell yeah! I’m going to give this a 5/5 stars.

Foundation is the one thing that I can’t live without. Put me on an island with other cosmetics and I’ll always choose foundation. A girl’s gotta cover up her spots, you know what I’m saying?
Today, I want to review the Becca Skin Love Weightless Blur Foundation. This is a breathable, medium coverage liquid foundation with a buildable finish that enhances the natural beauty of your skin, this is what the package states.
I decided to use the shade Maple because it seemed similar to the shade that I used with my regular foundation by Fenty Beauty.
1.So first thing, I really liked that it covered my spots. I didn’t have to use a lot of foundation to cover up. I really liked this, because with so many other foundations you have to use so much to cover everything.
2. It went on smoothly, I didn’t really have to blend it out too much.
After an Hour
After an hour, I checked back on my skin. I noticed that the foundation didn’t move. There was no oil dripping off my skin or anything.
After the hour, I noticed that the foundation started flaking. It didn’t really look natural or feel breathable. It felt heavy on my skin.
I’m going to give this foundation a 3.5/5 stars. I liked the coverage the best and I liked that it went on smoothly. But after the hour it looked patchy and just ugly. It retails for $53 on Sephora.com. Would I spend that much money on this foundation? No, I don’t think it’s worth the price and the bottle looks really small for the price.
Yes, so this was my review of this foundation. What did you think of this post? Do you use this foundation? What did you think of it?
“Does this eyeshadow look good on me?”, I ask my mom. “Yes, it looks great”,she exclaims. I have to do a double take because I’m wondering if I’m talking to my mom or someone totally different. I mean, my mom always complains that I wear too much makeup.
Today, I want to show you all, how I created this dramatic look using Elf Cosmetics Eyeshadow Collection. Look, I’m not the type to wear dramatic looks like this, I always keep it simple or I don’t wear eyeshadow at all. Today was different though, I wanted to try something new.
So this is the palette that I used. I bought it in my local Shoppers Drugmart here in Canada. It cost me about $20. I bought it 2 years ago.
I used dark green and silver for my inner crease.
Yes, so this is the finished look. I liked that the green complemented the silver so well. Would I ever wear this look out? I don’t think so, it’s too much. Maybe I’d wear it to a Halloween Party or something if I ever went to one. But I must say, for someone who isn’t a pro at doing eyeshadow, I did a great job! I’m surprised y’all! Shoutout to Youtube!
What did you think of this post? Do you often sport dramatic eyemakeup looks or do you like more simpler makeup? Comment below.
I don’t really like to stray too much outside of the products that I use for my face, but today I decided to try Kat Von D Lock It Concealer Creme. When I purchased my Nars concealer, I chose to get the Kat Von D concealer as a sample just to see what it’s like. My friend always talks about how great Kat Von D Products are, so I said, why not?
I applied a little primer and foundation first. I chose the shade Medium 19 Cool because it looked more like my shade. Then I used my damp beauty blender to apply.
I was pleasantly surprised. It went on smoothly and I didn’t have to apply too much product. It din’t look caked on, it was really rich. I thought it concealed really well.
It made my under eyes look bright, which I really like, when wearing concealer. Itreally felt really hydrating, even though the formula was thick. It went on really smooth.
The only downside to this? A couple of hours later I started to see lines. Overall, I’d give this concealer a 4/5. I liked the formula and the shade but the only thing I’m worried about is that it will crease after a while.
On the Sephora’s website, the bottle looks like normal sized concealers. Would I buy this again? Maybe. I didn’t really think this concealer was more special or completely different than any other one, but it’s still good. You can shop it Here
I’m still sticking to my Nars Concealer though for now.
Note : These words and pictures are all mine

Look, I wish I was the type of person to say things like, “I do my makeup differently everyday”, but I’m not. I’d like to be the person who says “I’m going to do this new bold look with my eyes today”, but I’m not. Haha, will I ever be that type of person? Maybe, but typically I do my makeup the same way every time.. Maybe it’s laziness, maybe it’s comfort I don’t know, but it’s always the same. Yeah, I know, boring right?
Today, I’ll be sharing with you my Makeup Routine. Typically it takes me probably 45 minutes to do my makeup. Here’s the process.
Primer – Before putting on my makeup I always apply primer. My face is always dry after I cleanse it, so using a primer makes all the difference. For this I like to use Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer. I like that this is super light and creamy and it doesn’t make my face oily. It’s also really affordable compared to Smashbox’s primer.
Foundation – After apply primer I use, Fenty Beauty Pro’ Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation. I like this makeup because it looks like my skin. I don’t feel like I’m trying too hard, it looks really natural. I shake the bottle twice then use 3-4 pumps depending on the day. My shade is 420. I always dampen my beauty blender before I apply my foundation, I find that it just goes on smoother and looks better.
Concealer– I like using Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. This is just so creamy and it just makes my face look really radiant. It’s the best. Then I blend, blend, blend.
Contour– After concealing. I contour. This is my favourite part of makeup. I like how it brings definition to my face. I use Fenty Beauty Matchstix Matte Skin stick in shade Truffle or Espresso. I use a brush to blend out my contour
Setting Powder – I then apply setting powder. I love the RCMA No Color Powder. It’s easy to blend out and it makes my makeup stay on for a long time. I usually dampen my beauty blender to apply this. I usually leave it on for 5 mins while I do my eyebrows or apply mascara.
Eyebrows – After setting powder I do my eyebrows. I use Rimmel London’s Brow Shake Filling Powder. I really like this because it makes my eyebrows really dark and bold. I don’t like it any other way. How to use? Shake, then apply but make sure the contents of the bottle don’t end up blotching your face.
Eyeshadow – I do my eyeshadow next. Typically I use the same colours. Again, I’m really boring. These days I use the Rimmel London Magnif’Eyes Spice Edition. I like using the burgundy colours the most because they make me stand out.
Mascara– I use 2 different mascaras, one on my top lashes and the other on my bottom lashes. I use Essence on my top eyelashes and Covergirl Lash Blast Volume Mascara on my bottom lashes.
Setting Spray– This the second to last step. After I brush off the powder and apply mascara I use Mac Prep+ Prime Fix +Matte Vaporizer. When I first started using makeup I had no clue what this was but now I’m in love with it. It just makes my makeup look so good and photo ready.
Lipgloss – I used to hate wearing lipgloss but now I can’t stop wearing it. It’s so simple and easy. I don’t have to worry about lipstick being on your teeth or all over my mouth. I use Rimmel London’s Oh My Gloss Lipgloss.
And this is the finished look below
These are all products that I LOVE. I use them regularly and I would recommend them to anyone. I won’t recommend products that are not great because there would be no point.
Yeah, so this is my makeup routine. Will I try new makeup looks in the future? Absolutely, because change is good, but for now I’ll keep doing this routine.
All the products shown in this blog post can be found on Sephora.com website or on Amazon.ca.
